Here are some important details:
Your pet must be at least 15 weeks old , 2 months less than La Compagnie’s pet policy of 6 months old to travel.
You can travel with a dog or cat weighing up to 8 kg /17.64 lb, which again includes the carrier. This is the same for requirement for La Compagnie.
Your pet must travel in a carrier measuring no more than 46 x 28 x 24 cm (18 x 11 x 9 ½ inches).
Your pet must be microchipped (prior to rabies vaccination) and all vaccinations must be up-to-date. For first-time rabies vaccinations, effectiveness begins 21 days post-inoculation (day of vaccination is day 0) and lasts up to 1 year.
Each passenger may only travel with ONE pet. This rule could be limiting to some who need to travel with more.
Make sure to check that your soft-sided carrier is ventilated on at least 3 sides (domestic US) or 4 sides (international). It must also be large enough for the pet to stand up and turn around. If not, Air France may not allow your pet to board.
Your pet’s carrier counts as your cabin baggage. All other luggage must be checked.
Depending on your destination, Air France charges different prices for pets traveling along. The price also depends on where the pet will be stowed during travel.
The transport of your animal is not included in the price of your ticket and varies according to your destination. A flat fee is payable online or at the Air France sales counter at the airport.

Air France Pet Policy
Air France is known as one of the most pet-friendly airlines, allowing passengers to travel with their furry companions in both Economy and Premium Economy cabins.
Air France was our second choice when deciding how to get Milou to France the most comfortable way. We ultimately only decided against it because it would be his first flight and we wanted to see how he did in a bigger space. The price difference between La Compagnie and Air France are significant, so if your dog is smaller, it may be worth it to go with Air France strictly based on cost.
***Important Thing to Note: Air France does NOT let you bring any pets on their flights to the UK, not even in the hold. This would be problematic for travelers who plan to use the UK as a layover or stopping point for a longer period of time.
