When In Provence is a travel blog for people seeking tips and experiences in the South of France.
Visiting Aix-en-Provence?
The first time Andy and I visited Aix-en-Provence, we did what most visitors do. We wandered the beautiful streets, admired the fountains, snapped a few photos, and left thinking it was a lovely city. But if you'd asked me what made Aix special, I wouldn't have had much of an answer.
As more and more of you started asking me for recommendations in Aix, I knew I wanted to experience the city beyond the surface. So we joined a walking tour led by a local guide whose family has called Aix home for generations. Suddenly, the city began to make sense. The elegant façades, hidden courtyards, bustling markets, and centuries-old traditions all came alive through stories we never would have discovered on our own.
It's one of the experiences I now recommend to anyone visiting Aix. If you'd like to take the same tour, you can book using my link below: Link Coming Soon!
